Sicily: More detailed than it first looks

I was drawn to the seaside view, but the tiny market stalls ended up being my favorite part. A few pieces are quite small, so tweezers help.

California Sunset: The diner sold me on this one

I love the pink diner and motel signs. The little cars and palm trees give the finished scene a fun road-trip feel.

California Sunset: Bright and busy

This one has a lot of color and detail. I prefer the quieter look of the mountain scene, but the sunset and retro buildings are really cute.

Kamakura Afternoon: Love the little train

The green train and tiny bakery are my favorite parts. There's a lot going on, but the soft colors keep the scene feeling calm.

Kamakura Afternoon: Lots of tiny details

Some of the smaller pieces take a little patience to position. I really like how the street comes together around the cherry blossoms.

Alps Town: A nice project to take slowly

This isn't a scene I'd want to rush through. The little buildings are lovely, and placing the details is half the fun.

Sicily: My favorite colors of the four

The blue water, warm rooftops, and bright flowers look so pretty together. The whole scene has a relaxed summer afternoon feel.
